CATHERINE LEIGH HANSEN

Catherine L. Hansen teaches in the Center for Global Education (GlobE) at the University of Tokyo. She is a researcher of global surrealism and the European avant-garde, a writer of scholarly metafiction and speculative fiction, and a teacher of writing, literature, and game studies. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, and has lived, worked, and taught in Beirut, Paris, New York, and the Carolinas.
